Partial Knee Arthroplasty & Knee Replacement Surgery

A knee replacement surgery consists on replacing a damaged bone in the knee with artificial materials compatible with your body, which are typically made of metal and plastic. Candidates for this procedure are patients who experience difficulty walking and climbing stairs, resting pain and swelling.

Partial knee arthroplasty is a minimally invasive surgical procedure to resolve knee arthritis problems. Arthritis of the knee in 30% of the cases occurs only or mainly in the inner part of the knee, so a minimally invasive, less traumatic surgery is the ideal surgery in most patients.
