  1. You will have to stay overnight in hospital
  2. No shower for first 24 hours
  3. You may have a foam dressing under your chin and have a chin/face wrap in place. The wrap should be worn continuously for 24-72 hours and then at night for 7-10 days
  4. You may temporarily remove the wrap to shower after the first day
  5. Sleep with your head elevated for the first few days
  6. You should be ready to return to work after 3 - 4 days
  7. You may return to regular exercise in 3 weeks
