  1. You will have to stay overnight in hospital
  2. Your breasts will likely be covered with gauze and a surgical support bra. Small tubes might be placed at the incision sites in your breasts to drain any excess blood or fluid
  3. No shower for first 24 hours
  4. For me first week you will need to rest, avoid bending over, lifting heavy weights and raising your arms adove the head
  5. After 2 weeks you can expect to feel well enough to return to a desk job
  6. By 3 weeks, most patients are feeling well enough to return to daily activities
  7. 6 weeks after surgery you can return to wearing a normal bra
