  1. You will have to stay overnight in hospital
  2. Your nose will be bandaged up
  3. You will not be able to breathe through your nose for a while — 48 hours at most
  4. You won’t be able to exercise for the first 3-4 days
  5. You have to keep your nose area dry
  6. You might experience minor bleeding (oozing) from the nose in the first 24-48 hours after surgery
  7. Don’t attempt to blow your nose for a while
  8. You will need to return to the hospital to have the stitches removed — next 5 -7 days
  9. It usually takes 7-10 days before you will be able to see your new nose for the first time
  10. Avoid contact sports for 4-6 weeks
  11. Do not expose your nose to sunlight for 3-6 months
